Betwixt the brambles and boughs, she strides, her sighs wrapped in dew and mist as she weaves in her hand a thread of glistening stars. With fingers jewelled in crystal frost, she plucks fresh flakes from inky sky as strands of moonlight spill against palm, scattered to the ground below.

Against midnight air she knits, fabric aglow beside heaven’s night as chilled cloth ripples and slides. Falling quietly in her wake, she leaves for the world a blanket of freshly sewn snow.

Kelly-Mae Matt (she / they) is a writer, pen-collector and dreamer, and loves all things magical and inspiring. Currently an MA student in Creative Writing and Publishing, Kelly-Mae spends their days with their head in the clouds and words on their mind.
